From the KX Storm Center:
After a foggy start for some of us, it has been mostly sunny to partly cloudy across the state. Rain chances are over for now, but will return tomorrow & Saturday. So through the rest of today, temperatures will stay below average for this time of the year. Daytime high temperatures will stay in the 70s for a few days. This means that below average temps will be the norm until our next chance of rain. The good news is that we will not have to wait long. Our next low pressure system will develop over Montana and move S/SE into Wyoming the Dakotas. Expect showers & thunderstorms will become scattered with more, needed rainfall on the way. At this point it looks like we can expect .25-.50″ and up to 1″ for some. Not widespread high totals, but it will help some.
Through Saturday, expect tapering rain chances & clearing skies late. Sunshine will continue through Sunday & Monday with highs climbing back into the upper 70s & lower 80s by Monday & Tuesday. Through the mid-week, another round of rain chances is in the outlook. All together, we are not looking at a risk of severe weather and there will be 2 different rounds of rain chances.

Tonight, mostly clear to partly cloudy with more clouds rolling in for some. Lows in the 50s with a few 40s and a NE/SE wind 2-10mph.

Friday will start off sunny with increasing clouds, followed by scattered (PM) showers & thunderstorms. Highs in the 70s & 80s with a South/East wind 5-15mph G20-25. 30% chance of rain.

Friday night, partly to mostly cloudy skies with continued showers & thunderstorms. Lows in the 50s with a SE/East wind 2-12mph G20. 40% chance of rain.

Saturday, partly to mostly cloudy with scattered rain & thunderstorms continuing. Highs in the 70s with a few 80s and an East wind 5-15mph G20. 50% chance of rain.

Saturday night, tapering rain chances & clearing. Lows in the 40s & 50s with an East/SE wind 2-12mph.
