Wind Stays In The Forecast But Not As Strong

Weather Blog

Wind isn’t as strong but it’s certainly breezy today. The sustained wind that we have this morning is very similar to what we’ll feel all day. It will stay westerly around 15-20 mph, gusting to 25-30 mph. Wind chills are averaging around -15 and -20.

Mostly sunny skies as temperatures return to the mid to upper teens this afternoon.

Tonight, single digit and subzero lows with a light westerly wind.

Wednesday, mostly sunny with a slightly cooler afternoon. Upper single digits and lower teens with a northerly wind around 5-10 mph.

Thursday, mostly cloudy with a slight chance for light snow along the South Dakota border. Highs are back in the teens with a southeasterly wind around 5-10 mph.

A warm-up is on the way for Friday and the weekend. Snow looks to be likely and may slow down your weekend travel plans.
