We could see one of the coldest Easter Sundays of the last 20 years

Weather Whys

Easter is celebrated on the Sunday after the first full moon after the Spring Equinox – or the first day of calendar Spring. This year, that happens this Sunday, April 12th.

The hottest Easter Sunday in the last 20 years was April 16th of 2006 when we hit 80° for a daytime high. The coldest Easter Sunday was on April 1st of 2018 with a high of only 31°.
We saw very little rain on Easter Sunday of 2009. Last year, we had .05″ of moisture which translated to .80″ of snow.
